Pan American Airways Stewardess is a fashion that was released in 1966.
"This is the hardest Mattel Barbie® doll airline costume to find! The blue-gray twill suit was exquisite in authentic detailing. A slim skirt was topped by a beautifully constructed white blouse with back belt, short-cuffed sleeves and mock breast pocket. The jacket featured matching button detail — six at the front closure in groups of three. There were three buttons at the back vents also. A metal Pan American emblem adorned the jacket as well as the matching pillbox hat with white edging. Accessories were short white tricot gloves, black plastic shoulder bag (as seen in American Airlines Stewardess #984) and black closed-toe pumps. The emblem is different than #984 American Airlines Stewardess. The Pan Am emblem only has one wing.
